Every once in a while, I notice I have a little hesitation or resistance to doing something.

It could be making a collections phone call, following up on a mysterious credit card charge, or sending out a tough email of some kind.

And sometimes I put it off for a while until I am in the mood to get it done. I have to shift my energy first.

Maybe you do that, too.

I was talking to a friend and business associate the other day who volunteered that at his previous company, he had a sign on the wall that read: “We eat ‘hard’ for breakfast!”

That meant that they weren’t afraid to tackle the tough jobs. In his case, if it wasn’t hard, they weren’t going to get the job in the first place, because their brand was built around doing the impossible.

And that was inspiring to me!

I also remember talking to a client a few years back who said it was his practice to make a plan for the day, and then do the toughest thing first.

That way, he never had to worry about doing it, and the rest of the day would seem really easy in comparison.

There is great wisdom in that – being courageous first thing in the morning.

Tapping into your warrior energy, becoming a fierce fighter from the start builds strength and character, and provides a great example for the rest of your team.

Seeing your strength will help them tap into their strength.

Everyone will worry less and get more done.

Sounds great to me!

Let’s all start strong, stay strong, and Keep Being Awesome!
