Many people seek the favorable attention of others by putting put on a bit of a show. When people are being Genuine, however, they are completely real and authentic. They see themselves quite well, and don’t pretend to be someone other than whom they really are. I really appreciate the Genuine folks who share both their blessings and their challenges; they help others feel safe in being Genuine, too.
